I’ve worked as an automotive electrician for over 15 years, and I still enjoy solving problems just as much today as when I started. Whether it’s an aftermarket installation, a wiring repair or a complex electrical fault, every vehicle presents a new challenge.
What I enjoy most is understanding how systems work. Rather than replacing parts and hoping for the best, I prefer a methodical approach—testing properly, following the evidence and finding the real cause of the problem.

The Journey
I started my career as a general automotive technician, but it didn’t take long for me to realise I was drawn to electrical faults and diagnostics more than anything else.
As vehicles became increasingly electronic, I chose to specialise, investing in professional training, specialist diagnostic equipment and years of hands-on experience.
Along the way, I’ve also had the privilege of mentoring and training other automotive electricians, sharing the diagnostic methods and practical experience I’ve developed throughout my career.
I’ve also designed and installed bespoke electrical systems for specialist and emergency service vehicles, where reliability, safety and attention to detail are essential.
Today, I run The Car Electrician, combining over 15 years of experience with a genuine passion for diagnostics.
